John and Allyson along with Olga, participated in the 5k walk/run for Anthony Seeing is Believing Foundation in Pismo Beach. Congrats to John for coming in second in his division.

The GO See Foundation sponsored an adventurous guided tandem kayak tour in Morro Bay lead by Tom from Central Coast Kayaks. 11 people in all (including several volunteer sighted guides) had a fantastic day out on the bay with lunch afterwards.
A special thanks to Thrivent for their $250 grant to support the event plus t-shirt donation for all participants.
Losing your vision can mean the removal of an eye (enunculation). Creating a new prosthetic is a process. Allyson has had several new eyes made over the past 30 years. This short film documents what that process can look like.
